Biblical Worldview Training for this School Leader and His Faculty
with David Medder, Interim Head of School at Westminster Christian school in Miami
As Christian school leaders, we still seem to struggle to find the right emphasis on biblical worldview training amidst the many competing professional development requirements for our faculty. Similar to professional development, the necessary equipping to ensure that faith AND learning are integrated daily in our classrooms often is reduced to an "event" or checked off the "to do" list. After the initial discussion with David Medder, Interim Head of School at Westminster Christian school in Miami, it became apparent that he had both a bigger and longer view of equipping his faculty in this foundational area. His interest was initially piqued with an article from Noah Brink in our March 2017, eblast edition. A number of conversations led to a clear understanding of the approach which would best fit his faculty. An initial in-service allowed Noah to clarify terms and share foundational worldview concepts. This session was then followed by a commitment by David to provide additional time and training for faculty to deepen both understanding and application. David stated, "Bryan and Noah have been incredible in shaping the PD that fits what works for us. They were flexible in combining an on-site with a Skype format." We would love to have the chance to help you in this essential equipping for your faculty.
